Fraterfest Read-a-Thon
inspired by the author of things that go bump in the night

Fraterfest Read-a-thon details:
Begins 12:01 am (CST) on October 5th and ends at midnight October 8th. I am hoping to provide some motivation to attack your TBR pile. You can read whatever you want as long as one book is either a Rhiannon Frater novel or a bump in the night book (vampire, zombie, shapeshifter, ghost etc). For my peeps who fear losing sleep a mystery will do ;) If you can only participate during a few days of the read-a-thon that is okay too. There is no requirement to follow me but it's always appreciated. You don't have to have a blog, feel free to follow along on twitter, goodreads, or facebook. I will be using the hashtag #Fraterfest. Throughout the event there will be fun challenges and prizes. On Sunday October 7th from 6pm(EST) to 8pm(EST) I will host a twitter party hashtag #Fraterfest. You do not have to follow me on twitter but you can do so here: @kimbacaffeinate. There will be some awesome Frater prizes for read-a-thon participants. To qualify you most post your goals and results and participate in at least one challenge. These can be on your blog, facebook page, goggle+ or goodreads. As long as you can share it.
To join in the fun, grab my button (post on your blog or share on any social media) and link up below. If you are interesting in hosting a challenge for this event, please email asap. On October 5th, I will post a new linky for you to update your link with your goals/results etc page. This post will also include a schedule of events for you to participate in. I am very excited about this read-a-thon but it won't be any fun without you..so link up my caffeinated book loving peeps! Remember you can participate as much or as little as you want. The goal is to attack that TBR pile and have fun! 
I really love this idea! I've wanted to read her books forever too, so it'd definitely be a great opportunity. ;) I THINK I can join! I'm just gonna check it up and make sure before I make more commitments, haha. I bet it'll be fun!

ReplyDeleteI'm normally not great at challenges because life gets so crazy, but I'm going to give this a try! I LOVE Rhiannon Frater's work and I've been dying to read The Last Bastion of the Living! With a cover like that, how could I not be?
